How have I never written a review for this place? We often visit here and come back for a reason. The staff is always polite and friendly. The food is a little bit more than down the street but the quality of food makes up for it. It's never busy here so you get a nice quiet experience when you eat here. They also offer specials during the week if you want to stop on by and check that out.

The service is a shade slow, but usually, I'm in no hurry to get in and out, which works just fine with me. The food is always yummy and the wait staff is nice. The refried beans are yummy and usually my favorite part of the meal here.

Slow, awkward lunch service. I had the chicken chimichanga, which was okay but the chicken was not pulled apart enough - it was difficult to cut. I could hardly tell what our waiter was saying. Even though there were maybe 4 other people in the restaurant, we had to wait a good 10 minutes for the check after he took our plates.

I've eaten here twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times my experience was very good. The wait staff is very nice and they make sure you have everything very quick. My daughter loves the piñatas all over the ceiling! I am a chimichanga addict so I usually always order them. I usually only get chicken but my friend got beef so I tried it and loved it. So great news- no matter what chimichanga you get it's going to be delicious. This place is also very inexpensive! For lunch my total with tip was $10.60 and dinner for two people plus drinks it was $32 with tip. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of the location. It is set way off of 27 next to White Castle, just takes away from the restaurant itself. But I highly recommend going to this place for dinner or lunch, quick service and very reasonable prices.

I love the food, however the salsa always seems to taste different, you never know what you're going to get. Which is kind of frustrating. You would think they would have a recipe? And most of the staff is great. I come here very often. One specific waiter is always really strange and never makes eye contact and looks off and away from you when talking. It's really odd. He also kind of acts annoyed when you ask for anything. If you thank him he just says "ok". I don't know but me and my boyfriend try and avoid being sat in his section because he's just rude. But other than that everything is great and super cheap! Also really close by if you live in cold spring.

My boyfriend and I are regulars here. We love the food and the staff is great. Service is usually very quick and food is consistently great. I especially love their chips and salsa, chicken chimi changa, and chicken fajitas! Definitely give this place a try!

Great Mexican food. Probably all I can comment on. Great service, friendly servers, and a wide variety of dishes.

This place was terrible. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and chicken nachos. Both had a puddle of liquid on the bottom of the plates and tasted like chicken noodle soup. There was no seasoning other than salt, and the cheese had a weird waxy consistency. Strangest Mexican food I have ever had.

This place is recently under new management but its still excellent! I love it and I will continue to come here again and again. Its hard to find because its tucked away behind a small hill buts its definitely worth finding it. My boyfriend and I have been coming here pretty regularly for the past 5 or 6 months now and the food is excellent every time and never fails to be delicious and cooked properly.

This place is the worst Mexican restaurant I. Northern Kentucky. I took my father there when he was in town and he asked if I still loved him. His food was overcooked, mine was devoid of taste. Go down 27 a little more and there's a MUCH MUCH better Mexican restaurant.

We have eaten here twice and the food is really great along with the 3.99 frozen margaritas. Yummo!! We are dedicated patrons!

Service is very slow. Every time. The food is great, the margaritas are delicious, and the location is great for those living in Cold Spring. Go here for the great food, not the service. They are friendly, just slow!

Service was good; we REALLY liked their salsa (lil spicy). I had the chile Colorado and the girlfriend had the pollo bandito. We both thought the food was good. Not the best Mexican food but far better than most. The interior was clean and decorated very well, would recommend.

Food is really good.but other than that not very good. Service is slow and they dont even know what a lime is. Well i guess that is what you get when you go to a mexican place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
